Description
On Sunday, April 26, the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center will be hosting its 14th annual Walk for Change at DCR's Constitution Beach in East Boston.
As the largest event in support of survivors of sexual violence in New England, the Walk is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for you and your business to come together with the Greater Boston community for survivors. If you’ve never attended the Walk before, this short video gives you a glimpse into this fun and inspiring day that features delicious food trucks, upbeat music, family-friendly activities, and many adorable dogs. You'll also find a short FAQ about the Walk attached.
There are several ways you and your business can get involved with the Walk:
Become a Sponsor: When you partner with BARCC as a sponsor, you show your clients, customers, employees, and the community that you believe and support survivors. With opportunities ranging from $3,500-$25,000 there's something for businesses of every size! Contact Kim Sebastiao at ksebastiao@barcc.org or 617-649-1260 with any questions or to pledge your support today!
Form a Team: Show up for survivors by attending the Walk as a team. Groups of 10 or more receive a 50% discount, bringing each adult registration to $20. Just e-mail us at events@barcc.org for your special code.
Volunteer: Maybe you don’t have a budget to do any of the above. That’s OK! You can still have a presence at the Walk by volunteering. You could send one, 20, or even 100 representatives from your business or organization to help out. To sign up, just e-mail volunteer@barcc.org.
If you can't support the Walk as a business, but you're interested in participating with your friends and family, you can register here. Use the code CAMBCHAMBER to save $10.
