Cambridge Half Marathon at CambridgeSide Raises Over $400,000 for 50 Local Charities

CambridgeSide has announced the proceeds from the Cambridge Half Marathon in November 2024. Over $400,000 in donations have been distributed to 50+ Cambridge charities and non-profit organizations. Since 2016, a total of $1,100,000 in donations has been raised from the annual half marathon. Registration is now open for the 2025 Cambridge Half Marathon at CambridgeSide which will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
“We are thrilled to announce that our recent sold-out half marathon of 10,000 runners has resulted in the highest donation amount in the history of the Cambridge Half Marathon. The Cambridge Half Marathon is a wonderful annual event that offers runners a beautiful race route and experience at CambridgeSide and throughout the city, and makes a significant positive impact in the community,” says Melissa LaVita, Regional Marketing Director for CambridgeSide. 
The Cambridge Half Marathon starts and finishes at CambridgeSide. The scenic course runs alongside the Charles River on Memorial Drive and features views of MIT, John W. Weeks Footbridge, Harvard University, and more. Cambridge Half Marathon race proceeds benefit Cambridge CampingCity of Cambridge Scholarship Fund and many other local charities.  
Registration for the Cambridge Half Marathon, a USATF certified course, is currently $90 per person (price increases April 27, 2025) includes a quarter zip pullover with proceeds benefiting local charities. To register, visit CambridgeSide.com
