Description
"In this performance, two Armenians from different parts of the diaspora - Moscow and California - give voice to the strength, resilience, and persistence of the Armenian people. Despite the 1914-1915 genocide or the most recent ethnic cleansing of Artsakh in September 2023, Armenians worldwide continue to embody a rich creative culture in music, art, film, and literature. Curating a repertoire that explores themes of celebration, beauty, and transcendence, and joined by friends and family members from the local Armenian community, Tatevik Kocharyan and Garo Saraydarian tell the story of Armenian identity as only they can: through their own experiences, feelings, and musical tastes.
