On May 15, International Day of Families, we are celebratingParents Forum's 25th anniversary.
It's a big day!
We will start with Eve Sullivan, founder of Parents Forum, presenting a communications skills workshop “Spotlight on Conversation” designed to help you better manage day-to-day conversations in the workplace.
The session, intended for individuals at any level, and in all sectors, from retail to high-tech, as well as for human resources professionals, is organized in partnership with Africans in Boston.
The 3:00 to 3:45 pm workshop will be followed by a short talk by Rev. Liz Walker, former television journalist at WBZ, now pastor of Roxbury Presbyterian Church. Rev. Walker will speak on thetheme of International Day of Families: “Families, Education and Wellbeing”. A reception in celebration of Parents Forum’s 25th anniversary will follow.
Thanks to our venue sponsor The Porter Square Hotel for donating the space and nice coffee!
