You’ve learned basic grant writing skills and now you’re ready to design, develop and write your own. This course will provide the know-how you need to give your grant proposal a fighting chance. Workshop participants will have an in-depth review of the major building blocks of successful grant proposals. Special attention will be paid to case statements, preparing budgets, management plans and evaluation. Pitfalls and best practices will be discussed, as well as what reviewers and funders are looking for. Ample time for challenging questions and hands-on exercises will be included in the presentation. You’ll learn how to write compelling case statements; develop budget categories and budget narratives; design a grant management plan and learn the basic grant logic model and winning evaluation practices.
