DESCRIPTION:Join Us for the CASPAR 'Strengthening Our Community" Event on April 29th! \n\n\n\nJoin us on Thursday\, April 29\, at 5 p.m.\, for our virtual spring fundraiser\, "Strengthening Our Community\," honoring members of the Cambridge community who have provided crucial support to our work with individuals dealing with the challenges of homelessness and/or substance use disorder. \n\n\n\n"Strengthening our Community' will feature inspiring stories from some extraordinary members of the CASPAR community\, an auction\, and other surprises. The evening will culminate with the presentation of the Carl F. Barron Catalyst for Change Award to our "COVID Heroes" - The City of Cambridge COVID Response Team and Pfizer Kendall Square. This award is given in recognition of both honorees' incredible efforts in response to the pandemic\, as well as their longstanding contributions to CASPAR's work. \n\n\n\nAll proceeds from "Strengthening Our Community" will support CASPAR's lifesaving programs - including our Emergency Services Center and FirstStep Street Outreach Team - which not only provide critical services to nearly 300 people each day experiencing homelessness and substance use disorder\, but have also played a key role in helping our most vulnerable neighbors negotiate the extraordinary challenges of staying safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. \n\n\n\nIndividual tickets to the event are $25\, and can be purchased here.
