SUMMARY:Retail Academy Management Training for English Language Learners
DESCRIPTION:Attend a four week\, 50 hour course through Bunker Hill Community College and advance in your professional career.  During this course you will learn the principle of managing people\, what it means to lead a team\, how to work more efficiently and effectively\, key performance indicators\, principles of accounting and inventory\, professional communication both oral and written\, positive decision making\, time management\, production applications and digital concepts\, and pivot tables.\n\n\n\nThe January and February Cohorts will have an ABE/ESL teacher in the class to assist students with content.\n\nStudents attending the January ESL Class must enroll in the February Retail Academy Management Training\n\n\n\nClasses will be held Monday thru Thursday from 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Bunker Hill Community College.\n\nA $550 stipend will be given to each graduate after the successful completion of the Retail Academy.\n\nA $480 stipend will be give to each student successfully completing ESL classes and upon enrollment in the Retail Academy. \n\n \n\nFinancial Literacy and Understanding Benefits will be offered as an additional bonus.\n\n\n\nFebruary Class begins February 19th through March 7th. \n\nEnrollment date by February 15th. \n\n\n\nFOR MORE INFORMATION  PLEASE CONTACT\n\nCYNDY CHAPIN  @ 617-208-9140\n\nINTAKE & ASSESSMENT WILL BE \n\n             COMPLETED AT\n\n     Metro North Workforce Board\n\n 186 Alewife Brook Parkway\, S-216\n\n             Cambridge\, MA  02138\n\n         IN THE FRESH POND MALL
