DESCRIPTION:Please join the Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House on July 11th for Port Community Pride Day\, a free event for neighbors\, friends\, and family in and around Cambridge! \n\n \n\nEvery summer since its inception in 2002\, Port Community Pride Day has brought together residents\, community organizations\, civic leaders\, and neighbors from across Cambridge for a free\, full-day celebration hosted by the Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House in collaboration with community partners throughout The Port. Reflecting the spirit of the neighborhood it celebrates\, the event includes a basketball tournament\, community resource fair\,  live entertainment\, free food\, and community activities. Community Leadership Awards recognize individuals whose contributions reflect the values that have always defined The Port. This year\, we are reinstating an important aspect of Port Community Pride Day: the neighborhood Peace Rally & March. Please join us at 10:00am in Greene-Rose Heritage Park for a short walk that tells a big story--- one of community activism\, togetherness\, and an over 20-year-long commitment to peace.
